Happy to share that the USC Graduate School has awarded me a Research Enhancement Fellowship for my forthcoming dissertation project, “Art, Social Justice and Women’s Empowerment: Dramatization as Research in the Trafficking In Persons Space in Thailand.” The Award will provide support for the 2013-14 academic year as well as additional funding to produce LAND OF SMILES (previously entitled SURVIVE) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  I look forward working in collaboration with the Gate Theater Group and the Kachin Women’s Association of Thailand (KWAT) on this production.  Thanks also to the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and the Wallis Annenberg Chair in Communication Technology and Society for providing support.
